Terrorist Attack Close to Home
Terrorism is a real and present danger across the globe. With the recent attack in New Zealand, we've received many calls from concerned locals.
With so many varieties of attacks, attackers and locations to perform these attacks, terrorism is a major security challenge faced by governments worldwide, including here in Australia.
We have many agencies and professionals working tirelessly behind the scenes to protect Australia, including ICS with our ongoing training and work in the Counter Terrorism field.
Whilst we shouldn't live in permanent fear or allow these terrorists to control our lifestyle, we can all do our part by being aware and speaking up if something just doesn't add up.
REPORT SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOUR –

WHAT TO DO IF TERRORISM STRIKES YOUR COMMUNITY –
Be Prepared - Like you would be in a natural emergency like flooding
Develop and Emergency Plan - Give every member of you home a job
Choose an Out-Of-Town friend or Relative to be your Key Contact - This person can then be used as a contact if members of your home get separated to coordinate and get you all back together
Agree on a Meeting Place - Where to go, if you can't get home
Build an Emergency Kit - Include emergency numbers, torch, battery-operated radio, first aid kit, gloves, matches, water, important documents
