NBN & Alarm Monitoring - What do I need to do?

As the NBN is rolled out in Australia, many alarm systems will not be able to report back to their Monitoring Control Centre without upgrading to new NBN Ready devices and technology.

 Most Alarm Systems use landlines to communicate to their Monitoring Control Centre. Once the NBN is rolled out in your areas, this previous fixed line technology will no longer be available.

At ISC, we have many available solutions to assist with this transition and recommend customers look at upgrading before connecting to the NBN.  This will ensure you remain protected and have continual Alarm Monitoring throughout your NBN upgrade.

We currently have specials on our 4G Direct Wireless Dual SIM communicator which can be directly connected to 99% of Alarm Systems already installed in Australia.  In simple terms, this unit is basically a mobile phone for your alarm system.  The installation includes removing the landline connection from the alarm and replacing it with mobile technology.

These are just some of the benefits?

Makes you existing Alarm System NBN Compliant;
No more 1345 call charges on your phone bill;
Possible reduction in your Insurance due to Dual SIM Redundancy;
Faster reporting of alarms to your Monitoring Control Centre;
Extra Reporting features from your alarm as you no longer pay for calls.
  (These were usually not programmed into alarms due to the high call costs of your Telco)

Contact ISC today to upgrade your alarm system to be NBN ready and start benefiting on the many other cost savings and increased security.  Click here for our current NBN Ready Special.
